STANDING COMMITTEES

Community Relations Committee.  This Committee shall act as a contact between this Society and the general public and other health care organizations to work together in promoting the health of our community.  Roger E. Sharf, M.D., 2005 Chairman

Grievance Committee.  This Committee shall, upon written request of one of the parties involved, investigate and supervise all matters of dispute, controversy, or grievance arising from patient-doctor, doctor-doctor, or doctor-third-party complaints.  Warren B. Howe, M.D., 2005 Chairman

Information Technology Committee.  This committee shall work to create greater and smoother flow of accurate medical information, and put physicians in a leadership position to assure data is accumulated, interpreted, and implemented in an appropriate fashion.  , Matthew VonFeldt, 2005 Chairman

Legislative Committee.  This Committee shall concern itself with local, statewide, and national legislative matters as they pertain to the medical profession.  It shall serve as the contact for committees and programs established by the Washington State Medical Association with regard to legislative and political matters.  Jeffery J. Graham, M.D., 2005 Chairman

Membership Committee.  This Committee shall work to improve the professional and personal quality of life for physicians and work to promote the Medical Society.  Members in this committee shall promote membership recruitment and retention, and organize WCMS meetings and social events as a way to improve physician collegiality.  Elizabeth M.
